EUHOFA Xmasletter 2017

Dear Euhofa members,

I do hope that you are all fine and your schools, universities, institutes are running successfully and students are ambitious and eager to learn and leave our institutes well educated for the national and international hospitality world.

In this time of the year, you will finally be able to find some time to sit back, relax and spend the rest of the year together with your family and friends.

It is also this time of the year to have the chance to connect with you, dear Euhofa family.

Have those of you who have attended the excellent and „emotion oriented“56th Euhofa International Congress in Lucca in November 2017 already had the possibility to share the insights with colleagues or use some of the input which we got during the congress? It has been a highlight - from the start to the end - the well-organized congress team, the interesting speeches and workshop sessions - every day another focus and a visit to one of the school locations of Fondazione Campus. The semi academic visits as well as the partners´program have been of high standard and the dinners exceptional. One special focus was the collaboration between Euhofa schools on an international level, cooperation between Isi Pieroni in Barga and ROC Gilde in the Netherlands as well as Isi Pieroni and Fondazione Campus. Once again, thank you very much Prof. Enrica Lemmi and the whole congress organizing team for all the preparation and dedicated work during the congress!

(Delegates and partners - official opening 56th Euhofa International Congress 2017

During the General Assembly in November 2017, we again informed about the different offers for the Euhofa members - like the free access to different resources, which our teachers can use for the education of our students in our institutes. Please consider the „grant funding scheme“for a common project between two Euhofa member schools - if you would like to use it, please send a project description to the Secretariat General. Further detailed information can be downloaded from the internal Euhofa Website – please login with „Euhofa2016“.

The team of École hôtelière de Lausanne, Switzerland, will organize our next congress - the 57 th Euhofa International World Congress. 125 years of education will be celebrated there and it is a great honour that the Euhofa family is invited to be part of that. The congress team has put together a high standard programme with the theme „125 years in the hospitality world: the challenges ahead “. It focuses on the latest trends in hospitality education and will take place from 14th - 18th November 2018 in Lausanne, Switzerland.
